I’ll never understand why people will run in a shoe that wasn’t designed for running or anything remotely approaching it, and then are surprised when it doesn’t work for a lot of people. The VFFs are trendy, silly shoes. There are much better options out there!
I own 2 pair of VFFs and I love them. I have never run in them. I use them to walk around the house, do errands (almost said run there), and non-sporting activities. I get mixed looks from people. Some sincerely think they’re cool. Others, not so much. More often than not, someone will ask me, “Do you run in them?” I think the masses believe that the VFF is a running shoe.
VFF, to the best of my knowledge, has designed only one line recently, called the Bikila. All other lines were designed with something else in mind.
