Traveling to Vegas next week and wanted to burn some of the conference calories by continuing my swimming focus. Got plenty of treadmills @ the hotel and red rock’s to cover the running, but I was looking for a lap pool in the vicinity of Mandalay Bay where I’ll be staying for the waer kicks.
I know about Desert springs, but it is a decent ways from the hotel so was looking closer.
Ideas? suggestions?
The pool at the Mandalay Bay is huge - more than enough room to get your sets in - especially this time of year when the pool is nearly empty.
huh. I was checking out the pool map and didn’t see a lap pool, not that I am a lap Nazi, but there is a section that accommodates the more navigationaly challenged swimmers? thanks for the advice.
The closest pool I know of is www.lasvegasnevada.gov/TextOnly/Find/4965.htm. The neighborhood is not the greatest, but it is a nice pool. From Mandalay bay I don’t think Desert Breeze is much farther.
Check out the pool at the Henderson Multi-gen Center, off of Green Valley Parkway and 215. Great outdoor pool, 50M until noon everyday.
