Got Jack Daniels Running Formula book on order, have access to VDOT tables and have most recent result in a 10mile race - how can i use this result to calculate VDOT? 10mile race done in 1:10:30. (1/2 Mary 2 weeks before in 1:38:59)
Using 15K as a distance and working out your pace from the 10 miler, I’d say you have a VDOT of around 49 or 50.
The 1/2 mary would put you at 46.
