Vasa Erg screen not working, any ideas?

so the screen stopped working on my vasa. it’s NOT the batteries. the resistance works so it’s totally fine to use just not sure why the screen went out all of a sudden.
it wasn’t moved or anything like that.

Check cables connecting. Else if not batteries you may need a new display

This happened to me. I couldn’t figure it out and I had to get a new display.
