wow
.
I’d say mavic she have nice moots???
Is that front wheel available to the general public. Any aero specs compared to a tri spoke? I’m afraid to ask the cost.
I think it’s more of a track wheel, but I’ve seen some guys on the Tour use it in TT’s. I’m pretty sure it’s upwards of 2000 dollars for one wheel.
MAVIC IO 5 SPOKE Front wheel
OUR PRICE £1599.00
isn’t this the really cool bike that was made out of seam welded sheet titanium versus extruded tubing and had such thin wall thickness they were too scared to manufacture it. Plus the price was sky high. Sure is cool though. Think I read this somewhere
I saw the bike at interbike, and I don’t want to rain on your parade, but while I think it was pretty looking, aerodynamically it was quite crude compared to something like the P2 or P3. The ‘aero tubing’ was no more than the equivalent of a round tube with a long aero teardrop section of completely flat titanium. Not anything close to a NACA profile tube like Gerard uses on the P2 and P3 (where the tubes’ leading edges are not round but flattened and elliptical, and where their sides have compound curves all the way to the trailing edges).
Sure looks nice though…
Not bad looking, but, and don’t hate me for this, I’m not a big Ti fan. I prefer my Felt DA…
Yep, I’ll take my DA over the ti-Moots any day.
Well,
I would take my P3 over a DA and the Moots to boot ;-).
P3’s are nice - Bjorn rides one. But not correctly according to you if I remember right!
What did Becca’s 5 fingers say to fireluv’s face?..SLAP!
I feel like I’m in a Dr. Suess forum
I never said that Bjorn did not ride his P3 right. I said that his position could be critiqued as he had a 17+ minute lead on the bike, and then finished 3rd. Would a slight change in position have resulted in a 5 minute slower bike and 10 minute faster run?? Only analyzing and examing can we truly know that. That is not to say that he is not awesome on the bike, but his position, like anyone else’s position, can be critiqued.
