Another Dos a Cero, nice!

Damn straight! Frustration showing on the Mexican side as the fans keep showing their class chanting âputoâ and the game had to be suspended multiple times.
Pulisic and Weah seemed inda absent tonight; didnât contribute much or play to their potential. Our back line looked tight. Destâs dribbling skills raised the level last night.
Lets get to 2026 on the right path with this lot!
I was so off the grid the whole weekend, that I didnât even know there was a game! Against Mexico, with our A-team, and a win! Bummer I missed the whole thing.
One thing about soccer, watching a replay when the score is known is totally not the same.

I wonder when they flew over from Italy? No way their body clocks were ready for a game that stated at 3 am Italy time. I missed the game because i fell asleep because I just got back from Europe a few days ago, I canât imagine playing.
Mexican fans are classless. Always have been.
Gregg Berhalter fired.
Can he take half the team with him?
Replying to lastâŚ
Just lost to Canada for the second time in a row!
Lost both games on home soil.
This team also lost to Panama earlier. Itâs a good thing weâre not playing Greenland or Gaza anytime soon. So much winningâŚ
USA is doomed to suck at football soccer for a long time. USA and many other rich western nations do not have children growing up with the deep connection with the game which comes from hours and hours, week after week, year after year of playing pick up games, dribbling the ball to school and playing at lunch times.
Players and parents pursue the dream in largely pay to play leagues and academies where they think they can get the outcomes and skill required by training with a coach twice a week and playing a game.
Even if the scale up and pay to play every day of the week in an academy they miss the opportunity to play all day in a summer holiday with friends and over a summer mastering kick ups or a trevelo or knuckle ball.
This is how generations of players developed. Now this is even dropping off in South America as well so maybe this isnât going to be the way,
So US soccer like Socttish Soccer and Australian Soccer (Two nations I am involved with) should focus on playing in a way that takes advantage of the attributes they have rather than this dogmatic lets play like Spain or Brazil whne thye donât have the technique to do so.
Argentina won a WC playing some god awful football based on having two very strong pivots in De Paul and McCallister along with a strong back four and playing on the counter with De Maria wide, messi between thye lines with not much runnng and their number nine being highly mobile.
USA, Oz and Even England have this identiy crisis about how they think they have to play. Play the way that your players will have best chance to succeed or do what france did after a few bad years, accept its will be generttional and start with the best young players and develop them to play the way you want to play in 10 years.
NPL and UEFA accredited coach
Mostly without Alphonso Davies too.
Sounds like I missed some USMNT games?
I havenât seen the latest iteration under Pochettino but this doesnât sound encouraging. It sounds like the same old same old.
Hope they can turn it around for a home soil WC.
Am I the only one who thinks Agyemang is just spectacularly awful?! He always seems out of position behind a defender and has to claw his way to the ball, or on the ground, or has the first touch of an elephant and always making his job harder to maintain control of the ball when he does get it?
On the game, US is chasing and we are struggling from our goal line to the final third. We are flat and playing very deep, compact into our own def third. Giving the ball away a lot.
And just as I was about to say the officials are letting a lot go a nasty tackle by Mexico with a deserved yellow.
We need to settle down in the second half and gain some possession: 66% Mexico is going to make us very tired and frantic for the next 45â
