I was introduced to a phenomenal product last month - its a whole raw food that is a proprietary blend of chia seeds. Its called Mila (“miracle seed”) and its effects are extraordinary. Its loaded with omega 3s, antioxidants, phytonutrients, protein, and more. My energy went through the roof and the anti-inflammatory effects are incredible in promoting a fast recovery. The effects of the product were so striking that I chose to use Mila as a business opportunity. If your into chia, omega 3s, or just want to improve your energy, health, etc… check out my site:"thegivingseed.lifemax.net
im reminded of the pretty fast female triathlete i saw once, who had a SNICKERS jersey
.
.
The Born To Run book talks up the wonderful effects of chia seeds. I tried a couple of bags, no noticeable results beyond that it’s as effective as psyllium for let us say regularity…
Crap, beat me to it.
Given my usual state after hours in wet tri shorts, I’d be concerned about any product that might make me sprout fuzzy green vegetation.

Hrm. So you registered yesterday as “MILAmike”, and your first post is one touting yet another extraordinary product that has escaped the notice of the general public that you so coincidentally are selling.
Welcome to the forums…shill.

Let’s see… this mila stuff is $55 a pound, while chia seeds are $7 a pound.
I order my chia seeds from here:
http://www.nutsonline.com/newchia.html
Not affiliated at all with them, just a cheap source I found online. Decided I’d give it a try after reading “Born to Run.”
In answer to a PM I received, here is my recipe if anyone else is interested…
Actually, it was cheaper to buy a pound online than to get a 1/4lb from the local whole foods. I like them mostly as a recovery drink, but the jury is out on what benefits I’ve noticed. Hard to do a control, when the study is just one person, you know?
2tsp to 2Tbs chia seeds
1tsp to 1Tbs sugar (to taste)
some sort of citrus juice, lime or lemon (to taste)
about 8oz of water
I boil it ahead of time, and put it in a jar to steep. Almost like canning it. Makes it easier to have it refrigerated, and in single servings. I just drink it out of the jar.
Here’s a link where I got my recipe:

Very intersting. I may have to try a chia fresca. Thanks!
