Used Bike pricing guidance

Hi all,

Looking for some guidance on a used bike I’m looking to buy… not sure what it might be worth so it’d be great to hear waht you think!!

It’s a 2007 Specialized Tarmac S-works, all carbon… components are mixed: dura ace crankset, Ultegra dereilleur and brake set, 105 shifters.

I’d guess somewhere in the $1500 neighborhood if it’s in great condition. You didn’t mention wheels, so this is assuming a very basic wheelset is included.

If the drive train is good $1500 sounds good. often on a used bike you have to replace the drive train, chainrings, chain and cassette wich will cost you around $300 for something good. Good question about the weels, what are they and the condition.
