NSAID use increases incidence of erectile dysfunction

This article has no abstract so we have provided the first paragraph of the full text.

Previous studies have indicated a link between arthritis and erectile dysfunction (ED), but have not discovered whether ED is caused by this disease, or by its treatment. This issue is important, because patient compliance with arthritis therapy would be impaired if ED was a known side effect. Data from the well-known, 1994–1999 Tampere Aging Male Urological Study were used to assess the effect of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), which are commonly prescribed to treat arthritis, on the incidence of ED.
