This didn’t occur to me until my drive home from IM-WI today, but why did I need my USAT registration card (and picture ID) to check in to IM-WI when this race was not sanctioned by USAT?
Sure is funny isn’t it. Perhaps they are still sanctioned for this year. If they are not what happened to all the $9 fees collected?
IMNA was honoring USAT memberships for this year w/ consideration given to that’s what you originally signed up for a year ago … the card was to show you did indeed pay for a USAT membership.
Next year you will pay GTG $10 regardless.
