USAT Nationals - 30% chance of rain on 6/30

Just looked up the forecast for next Saturday. I sure hope the other 70% chance of sunshine wins out…I really don’t like riding my bike in the rain. Especially down hills and turns.

Isn’t there always a 30 percent chance of rain on the coast?

I have yet to worry about a forecast unless its like 2 days away.

As of today’s forecast the rain is supposed to take a break on Sat. Today is going to be our nicest day of the week wit hsun & low 80’s. Wed starts the cool down. Rain is expected for Thur & Fri with cool temps.

Come on Dave, that isn’t positive thinking!!! Spin the weather forecast to something like “Yay, it is going to rain so I will be nice and cool the entire race.”

Personally, I LOVE racing in the rain.

Motor home is packed and I will be leaving in 6 hours.

Let me tell ya, I am trying to think positive all I can. Just concerned with a system coming through like this they
are talking some pretty strong winds. How is the lake from wind?

And water on the road of a hilly course, well, I am a wuss.

Bruce, I like the looks of that, especially the no wind part. now if only that lake temp could come up about 5 degrees…
