Just talked to Jason on USAT ranking. They are busting their butt and are hoping to have up by Noon on 8/1.

I know what you mean. I understand why some are not that interested in the rankings. I did get some very strange results last year on some of my races. But they were very small races with a lot of beginners in them. The larger races seem to be pretty accurate as far as ranking goes. Anyway, I for some reason am interested in my ranking but that’s proabably because I am very numbers oriented…and place importance on such things…I sometimes wish I wasn’t so focused on the numbers so much…
It is just such an honor that a few folks love to read every post I write, and comment. I do love it when one of them
post the same comment I asked, why do some folks post in threads they have nothing positive to contribute.
But, its a free country.

It’s important to me, I’m on tenterhooks. I haven’t been this stressed or my sphincter this clenched since you nearly didn’t have your tires in time for the Intergalactic Olympics or whatever it was.
Kevin is in another total league from me. I thought he has always been like number 1 in what ever AG his is in ?
I have no idea where I would be. I was only 15.2% last year in the 45-49, so not too impressive.
With last years numbers, I would have been 10% in the 50-54. So, to make a jump to less than 5% is
not something I am holding my breathe on. But until I see numbers, I have no idea. If I am 82, I hope to get
HM. If 83, then who knows. Since it was changed this year, will not know until next year what happens.
But, it is fun to watch.
