How could he have launched it quickly. WMD’s need very specialized equipment that Iraq didnt have.
On the contrary. Dirty bombs and WMD’s can be assembled if the base materials are in place. The weapons cache, protective suits, and plans all point to the idea that Hussein was able and planning to put something together quickly.
Remember, it only takes a suitcase of material to be lethal.

A dirty bomb is not a Weapon of MASS destruction. A dirty bomb would only harm a minor amount of people. It is a terror tool because it is a grand statement. A nuclear dirty bomb may only kill from the initial explosion and make a few people sick. But attaching the “nuclear” label to it would frighten (terrorize) people. Same theing with a chemical or biological agent. It would not MASS Destruct anything.
Well, we don’t have to worry about these weapons falling into the hands of terrorists anymore…

For once, why don’t you address the point at hand? The American forces were responsible for guarding this well-known stockpile of explosives. Despite Rumsfeld’s dismissal of Shinseki’s claim that several hundred thousand troops would be needed after the war (I saw his Congressional testimony again last night), we don’t have enough manpower in Iraq to do the job necessary to make us safer. Rumsfeld’s hopes for a fast, light, smart force don’t apply to this situation, and the whole administration has refused to acknowledge this mistake. Now, who knows who has those explosives.

New record deficit, stock market at new low for the year, oil prices way up, 380 tons of high explosives go missing in Iraq, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. And, to top it all off, Ashlee Simpson is a lip-syncer? Just because it doesn’t serve your agenda of putting George Bush on a high pedestal doesn’t make it a non-issue. Bush is telling us we are safest with him in office yet we aren’t even guarding weapons caches in Iraq! It doesn’t add up.
It is a news-worthy issue…much moreso than the typical “Bush and Kerry spar over terrorism and Iraq” headlines we’ve been seeing for months now.

I’m glad we took him out before he even had a chance to use them. I don’t know what his exact intentions were but his past history doesn’t lead me to believe that those intentions were good.
