I guess baseball… I don’t see it working cause of all the money, but I gotta believe Soccer is big money in Europe…

I’d love to see it in the NBA where tanking for draft picks is rampant.
would have to get rid of the closed franchise system to make it more exciting. Not just an upper and lower division, but a chance to drop (or get promoted) without limits similar to EU soccer.
…and yes - loads of money in soccer. EPL clubs share about $3 billion a year in TV money - so much that they need parachute payments to relegated clubs so they can manage the income loss.
