US Men - Edmonton World Cup

So, I know that draft-legal isn’t the topic of choice here, but did anyone notice the results of the Edmonton World Cup. US men went 1-2-3 and had 5 of the top 14. That’s a great result, but something that was bound to happen as the sport is growing so rapidly in the US.

Barb and Sheila have held the honor of being the US’s best female triathletes over the last 6-8 years. Hopefully, Kemper and Potts will start earning the respect they deserve, but that is generally held for Ironman only.

Amongst a smokin field no less.

I did the AG race in the AM and sat front row for the pros. I think Walton was shocked to see Potts drop him on the run. But Walton schooled them all on the bike and Potts just hung on.

Nothing against Walton, but why doesn’t he consider backing off the bike, just a tad, letting Potts work with him, and actually run fast?

B/C he is not as smart as your going to be!

Ha! That’ll be the day, when Im able to out-bike a World Cup field.

Ahh grasshopper, I didn’t say out bike, I said smarter.

Good point.

Out-bike a WC field? Now, now, what nonsense is that?

Of course that if Hamish, Bevan and Olivier go, you perhaps should reconsider your option of sitting in… yeah, apparently nobody told Raña or Kemper this…

Hey Dave, I’ve heard you have a race this saturday, good luck! Did Paulo mention to you how much I HATE you for being such a great swimmer?!

No stress Sergio…I talked with Olaf…when you guys get here, we gang up on Dave, kick his ass, break one of his arms, so we can draft off him when we swim…

Hahaha, I bet he can do 1 arm freestyle faster than you guys swim
