I’m in Canada, and looking at an auction on US EBay where the seller is adamant about not shipping the item outside of the US. Is there anyone out there who would bid for the item on my behalf, have the item shipped to them, and then send it along to me in Canada by USPS? It’s not a huge dollar item, but it’s a part I am having some real difficulties finding.
I’d gladly reimburse all the incurred auction and shipping fees via PayPal, and either kick you a few dollars for your troubles or make a small donation to CAF in your name as a gesture of thanks.

what I would do is have you bid on the item-win it- then tell the seller to ship it to your pre-arranged “friend” in the states- then, that “friend” will get the shipping cost figures to Canada- you paypal them the cost and the item is then shipped on to you- just a little FWIW that might make this more appealing to your partner. I’ve done this for people who are overseas. I don’t see what the big deal is for shipping to Canada-it’s really quite easy using USPS
good thought … unfortunately, the seller is blocking any bids that come from a EBay account outside the US, so I’m pretty much having to hand the whole transaction to someone to take care of the whole thing for me.
