If I copy a url to the forum in Internet Explorer the url is active but when I do the same in Firefox or mozilla the link is not active. How do you make urls active in Firefox or mozilla?

I’m having the same problem doing links under Firefox while under Linux. The funny thing is, when I do the link in my signature file, it works just fine.
But if I do a link here…
It doesn’t work and all you see are the “html tags”.

It would be nice if the forum software supported web standards so that any compliant browser would work. Though I can understand that it is in Microsoft’s interests to have websites that only work with their browsers and as such will promote and sell design software that creates sites that only render properly in a Microsoft browser.
I suspect if the owner of this site had used Firefox yet, he’d feel compelled to change the website to be standards compliant so it would render properly in non-Microsoft browsers, cause once you use FireFox? Quite aside from greatly reducing all the security issues associated with Microsoft products, it just is a far more pleasant browsing experience - faster, no pop-ups, tabbed browsing,
