tIn the specs for the 2005 bar end shifters it makes specific reference to 10sp compatibilty. Will the 2004 vintage (ult?) shifters work sufficiently well?
When put on friction rather than index they will shift anything from 8 to 10 to campy to shimano. Not that hard to use as friction either. I did it for years rather than pay for the campy compatible bar end shifters.
