Upgrade questions

I have a 2010 base Allez with an upgraded bontrager stem, aero bars, Adamo saddle, and flashpoint carbon wheel set.

My question is about other upgrades that I can do? Crank sets? Chains? Derailers? Brakes? What will upgrading any of these do for me, and will I notice a difference?

I ride a lot of cycling tours, century rides, there is always wind present being in Texas, and I dona few events with significant hills. I also do triathlons. I am just wondering if any of these upgrades will significantly benefit me?

I had thought about buying a new bike but I like my frame and fit and have already upgraded my wheel set.

Thank you in advance for any help that you can give me!

The two things that would make the biggest difference potentially, would be nice tires, and form fitting cycling clothing.

After that, keeping your drivetrain clean and your chain lubed properly.

Not much to bother with after that, the Allez is a great bike.

What tires are your favorite?

Currently I am using rubino pros 3s.

Form fitting clothing I got by far haha lots of spandex!

Continental GP4000s / 2 are a very well regarded tyre, excellent grip dry And particularly wet, good rolling resistance, the best aero performance and reasonably strong puncture resistance…
Just an excellent all rounder…

plenty of people with spandex have loose fitting jerseys.

Continental’s clincher tires, the 4000S, or Attack/Force are both excellent.

A week long training camp in the mountains.

Ride more.

I wish, however my work schedule isn’t that flexible.

Yes, obviously riding more. However I wasn’t asking what would make me a better cyclist that’s in time in the saddle, I was simply asking if upgrades would benefit me in regards to what I do.

So the interpretation would be “no”.

Yup.
