I am going to add a “lug” to the junction where the seat and post meet. This mould was a particularly rough one, so I can’t get it as purty as I want to. Lots of speckling from where the mold seperating compound was. I am going to mold release wax from now on, after I make a new mould.
I may gusset the design, though in laying this up, the centre recess is plenty strong (having laid up extra material in that area). I will almost need to gusset this from the nose of the saddle. I may have a different solution, yet. Stay tuned.
