Wondering what is going on w/ the folks who reported broken carbon aerobars the past week or so. While riding with a friend this weekend he hit a pot hole in the road and heard a nice thack! Turns out he fractured his Easton carbon road bars about a centimeter from the stem. Luckily he was on the flats and not going fast. His bars were 2-3 years old and probably had been excessively tightened as they had been slipping the past month or so, so he may have fatigued them.
