Anyone know or heard anything more on Andy Potts’ recovery and Kona aspirations? Last update from his website was almost 2 weeks ago, which stated that he was resuming light training. Time is getting short. Kona in 17 days.
I haven’t heard anything about Potts. But I did read in a Danish online newspaper, that Rasmus Henning fell during a training run and broke his hand. He gave himself a 50-50 chance of racing at Kona
YOU DONT NEED HANDS TO oh wait theres swimming
.
Just heard that an australian pro athelete have a 50-50 chance of finish the race. He is afraid to brake his bike again :-p
Ok, I stop really hope that Andy is going to Kona.
in an interview on competitor.com andy says he is training harder than he has last year and is trying to do at least one long run of at least 12 miles or more a week. http://link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid40280743001?bctid=39108636001 this isnt the only video. there is 11 parts
The interviews was just after timberman and before the crash… so…
Potts is slowly recovering…back up and training but still not 100%. He’s a fighter so I am sure he’s going to give it all he has but Chicago has definitely had a major affect on training, psyche etc… only race day will tell where it all shakes out.
Sorry, but I just have to comment: get rid of the music on the blog. I can’t bother to read it, while MJ blares away at me.

funny… I have not looked at that blog in a long time- didn’t even remember I still had it up or that there was music on it BUT- point well taken and URL changed to something that might tickle your fancy a little more.
