Thought I would let you guys know if you didn’t already, that DirecTV picked up Universal Sports on channel 604!

No. No. No. It was because Comcast, which owns Versus, was being unreasonable in its demands. I know this because it says so right on my channel where Versus used to be.

Now if they would just broadcast the races in high def! After watching the TDF on VS in high def, standard def looks aweful…

It’s even worse than SD. It almost looks like they’re just broadcasting web video. Might as well just watch from their website if that’s the case.

Does this mean that we won’t get to see the TDF next year if we have DirectTV?
