Uneven Pelvic Pressure While Cycling

So I’ve finally decided I should seek a remedy for my nagging cycling issue.

When I ride I experience a much higher pressure on my right ischial tuberosity. Originally I had thought I was sitting off-kilter, or using a poor saddle, but now I firmly believe I have a leg-length issue that needs to be addressed. It has become so apparent that my cycling shorts wear a hole through the fabric on that area due to the pressure and friction between my pelvis and the saddle. Like I said, only the right side.

As for a solution, that is where I seek some advice. I do own a bunch of “Le Wedge” and was planning on building up the cleat of my right shoe to see if that makes a difference, but wanted to first see if anyone has had a similar issue. The other option was going to see someone for a serious bike fit, but theres always a chance that it won’t address the issue and I’m not one to piss away money.

Make sure it really is a leg length discrepancy. Mark your greater trocanter with a sharpie and measure the distance from the side of your pinky toe to that dot with your feet together standing up straight looking forward. Repeat with left leg. It might also be a tighter soas muscle on one side vs. the other, or any number of muscular imbalances.
