I’m lookin at a hydration pack for running long. I’m considering getting the Camelback Classic. Anyone have any thoughts about it?
I’d say go for something more like a hydration belt, check out the Amphipod series of bottle packs, 32oz and almost no bounce. Camelback has a nice waist mounted system called the catalyst, only 28oz or so. They also have some smaller 50oz models. Check out ultimate directions Wasp or similar packs as well, more for running than biking. Seems most camelbacks are either targeted towards cyclists, hikers, or adventure racers. You’re kinda in between. Then again, you can probalby make whatever you get work.
