Ultegra sl or SRAM Rival for road bike

Anyone ridden both (road version)? I’m leaning toward the SRAM–cost being primary factor.

If cost is a big factor (as is it usually is), I’d say Rival is about the best cost per performance (and weight) that there is among all the component gruppos. Get it.

I would second that, the new (black) Rival is very impressive performance, and the price makes it outstanding.

All I can say is that I’ve ridden Dura Ace (tri version) and SRAM Red (road) and I love the SRAM. Tomorrow my new tri-bike arrives with Rival.

I have 105 on my road bike and '09 rival on my cross bike (with dura ace on my tri) I really, really like the 09 rival. If it still shits well after I rode it through the mud for a month im sure it will do you well on the roads. The only thing is that the hoods are slightly longer which for me at least mean a slightly different position on the bike.
