Ulle on the way back

This guy is ruining my nerves…

First he comes out from winter overweight and undertrained again (and again…)

then he drops of the pace at several early races and quits racing for 3 weeks to train some more (hey, jan, that´s what the winter is for…training)

Now he just placed 2nd at the opening time-trial of the German Cycle Tour…

  1. Michael Rich (ALL/Gerolsteiner) 27:21
  2. Jan Ullrich (ALL) + 25
  3. Uwe Peschel (ALL) 30
  4. Daniel Becke (ALL) 33
  5. Sebastian Lang (ALL) 36
  6. Jan Hruska (TCH) 46
  7. Danilo Hondo (ALL) 48
  8. Jens Voigt (ALL) 1:00
  9. Igor Gonzalez de Galdeano (ESP) 1:10
  10. Alexander Vinokourov (KZK) 1:18

Ulle was leading at the turnaround but Rich (a 85kg monster) was batteling the headwind better…

Not saying that he can beat Lance in the Tour, but at least there is hope that it will be an interesting 3 weeks in july!

For some reason I think Jan will be battling for 3rd. Dunno who to, but Lance is coming in second.

Gut feeling…

This guy is ruining my nerves…

alter, was machst du hier?

maybe freestyle is right. maybe lance simply crashes. maybe he cracks. or maybe they both battle it out at the 2nd ITT after racing the whole tour on each others wheel. or maybe…

but when the speaker announces “here comes the new TdF champion!” then, well, THEN good ol’ cycling is back. no rednecks ruining our sport any longer. (sorry guys, just kidding :))))

p.s. solch eine trainingsklausur wurde ja schon oft für medizinische zwecke genutzt. oder ob es bloss das neue sauerstoffzelt ist? hony soit qui mal y pense.

… dachte ich mir auch…

that´s what i thought, too…
