Twist on Tuna Salad...with salmon?

I’m cleaning out my cupboards and came across about 15 cans of canned salmon (I used to eat it right from the can, so I stocked up on it, but haven’t had it that way in a while and don’t really want to eat it that way right now), so I’m wondering if anyone has a tuna salad like recipe for salmon? I make a curried chicken salad sandwich with shredded carrots, lettuce and tomatoes all the time, so how would you mix the salmon and what would you top it with? I’m thinking wasabi mayo is one option, as is dill and capers to mix with it.

Any other ideas?

Sounds good, give it a try. You could also make salmon cakes.

look at epicurious.com for recipes.

Run it through a food processor to make patties and then grill them up as burgers. Mmm-mmm good.

It’s funny that you asked this. I made an open-faced salmon melt yesterday for lunch, instead of tuna, and using fresh mozzerell instead of cheddar.

You can put salmon into anything, including salad - I do. I use whatever I have in the kitchen. i even will use whole-milk yogurt as the dressing, and add raisins or even blackberries to the mix (usually with shredded carrots, spinach, etc)
