Here in Louisiana they have a race called Holy Toledo, it’s a 1 mile swim, 40 mi bike and 10 mile run, it’s kinda unique in that a good bit of the run is off road and the weather is usually dicey. I wonder if there’re other races that are kinda in between the Oly and HIM?? but in more tranquil environments.
There is a race in Oregon called the Chase. It is a 5K run, 20K mt. bike, 5K kayak, 30K road bike, 5K run. I did this a few years ago and it was a blast…
