TV you're most embarassed to admit you watch

Over the years:

Pro Wrestling (ECW, WWF, WCW, WWE,…); “American Gladiators” - old version; “Married With Children”; Howard Stern reruns on E; and, some “Bay Watch” parody called something like “Son of The Beach.”

This is why I love coming here. You people crack me up. I never thought about watching any of these but now I might have to expand my horizons

“Desperate Housewives.”

I eff’ing love that show. And did you see it this past Sunday? What a tear jerker. I think that is the best role I’ve ever seen Beau Bridges play. I want to be just like Eli Scruggs when I grow up.

“What Not to Wear”. My wife digs it and it is amusing at times. Stacy London is also pleasing on the eyes.

Start with CHiPs!!

I watch or will watch pretty much every show whose target demographic is teenage girls–
Gossip Girl
One Tree Hill
90210
Greek

I actually got sucked into a marathon of the Secret Life of an American Teenager a couple of weekend back. The show is terrible – from the acting to the plots to having religion force fed to me but yet I still watched. Don’t get me started on teenage drama movies. I’ll watch those too – over and over and over again.

Then add all of the reality shows –
Americas Next Top Model
Americas Best Dance Crew
the Hills
Rock of Love

and thanks to this forum – Biggest Loser.

I am thankful for the invention of the DVR. I can tape all of these shows during the week and then watch on the weekend after long rides and runs. Plus on the dvr 1 hour shows can be watched in about 35 minutes. I need a life…

Son of the Beach! That show was awesomely bad! I remember coming across it and I would be amazed at how stupid it was, but I would watch every episode!

Oh hell yes those fake boobs and blond weaves…

And The Hills and, now The City (damn you Whitney Port!)

**Start with CHiPs!! **

I watched every episode when it was on TV. Scary to think about but I probably would remember every plot twist if I watched them again.

Housewives of Orange County
I find myself watching this show all the time. Not so much NY and definitely not ATL, but OC seems to grab me all the time. These people are so ridiculous.

God help me…

Monk
Psych
Leverage
True Blood

Anything Joss Whedon has done…Buffy, Angel, Firefly

I need help.

My roommate watches that show so that he can talk about it with his wife and he’ll get the phone call within 2 minutes of the show ending. She loves that show and every time he watches it, I have to go back to my room and read because it is just so painful to watch.

I have to confess I have watched the first two shows of Tool Academy on purpose. I had to stop because I now hate humanity. The guys are tools, the chicks who stay with them are pathetic wastes and the shrink on the show is a joke to her profession.

I watched Wife Swap last night. The TV one, not the one on cable

Horrible people.

I’ve seen these ABC shows a few times and think they all have the same stupid story lines so I combined them all into one show I call “Desperate Betty’s Private Anatomy.” I don’t watch them and am embarrassed to say I ever even watched them once.

The only stupid show I regularly watch is Dancing with the Stars, and the last season was so bad I probably won’t watch it again.

Charmed and The Ghost Whisperer (just for Alyssa Milano and Jennifer-Love Hewitt))

I hate “reality” tv. They just take the worst humanity has to offer and everyone wants to watch. My wife is hooked on Rock Of Love and I am about to vomit.

Oh, the version of this shown shown at about 1am on Cinemax is so much better.

Little House On The Prairie (freakin’ Mrs. Olsen always pisses me off)

My wife and I love that show. Overbearing control freaks vs. Rastafarians!
