Sweeney actually posted a time of 1:06:52 but his T1 exceeded the hour limit
Womens wunner was the wife of janderson with a time of 1:14:21 congratualations to all who entered, I think the weather killed the field this year down to 5 with no duathletes entered.
I personally worked 4 back to back days from 10:30 in the morn till 8 or so feeding other people and once again missed my own race.
Congrats to everyone who was able to finish and especially Sweeney and Mrs. Janderson. DH and I tried to do it. Finished the first 5k of the duathlon and one lap of three on the bike before I had to stop. I couldn’t feel my fingers (a few places I had trouble braking because of it) and my legs were starting to get numb. I’m a wimp when it comes to cold weather. When it’s no longer fun, then it’s time to stop as far as I’m concerned.
I did PR the 5k with a 28:08 on a somewhat hilly course. My previous best time was 33:xx, so I’m pretty happy. Thanks for hosting this Jim and congrats again to everyone who finished.

Well done! I definately deserved to be DQed. My T1 time was about 12 hours and to tell the truth, my T2 was about an hour and a half. But, I did DQ myself right off the bat. Congratulations also to Jim for a great idea!
