Tucker Caught Doping

.

He doesn’t look like he’s on steroids. He must be the only NFL player on steroids, good job they caught the bad apple. And a good strong punishment to set an example.

Exactly the point of my post. If this was a cyclist and it even made American media coverage it would read, “Another dirty cyclist, the sport is dead.”

I am always suprised when the NFL’s ridiculous testing procedures actually catch someone.

The NFL really goes after these guys, and Tucker’s season is most likely ruined. The most he can hope for is being an all-Pro and sent to Hawaii like Shawn Merriman for a paid vacation at the Pro-Bowl.

OT: So I managed to qualify for Kona—is it cool to just go up to our guy (TDeBoom) and start gushing?

At least he actually fessed up to rather than claim inaccurate tests, the was framed, botched paperwork…

Yup, and don’t you dare say Merriman shouldn’t be in the running for Defensive Player of the Year like Jason Taylor did. That’s unfair! Just because he was on 'roids doesn’t mean he shouldn’t be eligible for awards! This is America not Russia!

Awesome about Hawaii, good luck! I’ve still got DeBoom’s autographed picture on my desk. Steal his Red Bull belt buckle, a huge buckle of the two bulls smashing into each other like the Red Bull logo, coolest fashion thing I have ever seen, I would wear it to my wedding if I had one!

Is it really worth fighting when it’s a 4 game suspension? I mean come on, it would take longer than that to file the paper work.

It gets more ridiculous. This go just failed his 3rd test and got an 80 game suspension. So 3 tests and you lose less than half a season?

A failed first test and you are sent for counselling, HAHA!!!

Well, not to defend Major League Baseball’s steroid testing policy or anything, but that was for a positive test of a stimulant. For steroids, they punish a little harsher: a first-time offense is 50 games, second time is 100 games, and third is a “lifetime” ban (i put lifetime in quotes b/c you can apply for reinstatement after two years… go figure).

Don’t get me wrong. I think their policy is way too weak also, but it’s not quite as bad as the Neifi Perez thing makes it seem.
