Tubular race tire choice for a big guy

I race at 6’3"/200 lbs. Any recommendations for a tubular tire for racing that is halfway decent at puncture resistance and halfway decent at rolling resistance? I’ve been on Tufo S3 Lites for the past few years and have flatted once. Should I just stick with what I have and never again admit on Slowtwitch that I race Tufos?

you should be ok on Zipp Tagentes/Vittoria EVO CX at 23mm

just pump them up to recommended pressures.

only use them for races and you should be ok, but even gatorskins can flat!

Thanks Jack.

Im 6’1, 205 and use Vittoria Crono’s on my Stinger Disc and Stinger 9…pumped them to 120psi and no issues…fast tires, fragile tires though to only use racing…kinda pricey too…can never go wrong with the Corsa EVO’s either
.

x2 on jackmott’s recommendations.

Might depend on your wheels, but Tangentes are very good and the stems work on most discs. GPs are more durable depending on the type of surface might be a worthy consideration, too.
