Tubular Gluing Methods

What do you guys think of the tubular gluing method in video link below? I got one of those syringes laying around and wanted to try it out on my next tire. Any thoughts on why it wouldn’t be a good idea?

I used the syringe method for the second time last week. It is not a bad method at all. It lets you center the tire much more precisely than doing it under the traditional way. You still have to stick with the proven method of previous layers and dry time on the rim and tire.

I do have to warn you that if you apply too much glue on a particular spot, when you pump the tire to 130 PSI the glue will be compressed and spit out into the rim and tire. I guess it take some practice to know how much glue and how far into the center of the rim you have to place the glue.

The first time I recommend you do it covering the rim with 1" blue masking tape in case some glue comes out when pumping to max pressure.

Because you do not have to pull up the tire (already practically glued) after the initial set up to realign, I think that the bond is even better than the traditional way.
