.
My size small weighed 3.2 lb (1450 or so grams). I had to measure the cable housing and subtract that weight so it is + or - a few grams. The fork on the other hand…
The fork is super heavy at 1.47 lb/668 grams- steerer is pretty long so I hope I can knock off over 100 grams when I cut.
Another interesting thing is sizing. The small fits me well at about 72.5 saddle height. I am more like a medium in anything else. I am 5’10. I cannot imagine anyone with a lower saddle height riding a small.
Thanks a lot.
Is that just the frame or does that include fork, headset & seat post?
if you meant the P3, thats stripped, no cable guides or anything.
Thanks. With the different frames mentioned, I should have specified P3. Did you weigh it with fork, headset & seat post?

That would be a P3 Aluminum, since we’re clarifying.
Since we’re clarifying, Gerard, how much does my 61cm P3 SL frame weigh? Just curious. The fork?
Thanks for the clarification ![]()
I had assumed a P3 was aluminum & a P3C was carbon. Kinda like H3 vs. H3C. I get customers confusing the two all the time.
Do you know the combined weight of a P3 aluminum frame set (Frame, fork, headset & integral seat post)?
Unfortunately I don’t know, I didn’t know how much a 55 weighed either, I just knew from the quoted weight that it must have been an Aluminum one.
So what you’re saying is that you clarified something that didn’t need clarification, but won’t clarify something that somebody asked for clarification?
What I am saying is that I will clarify that which I can clarify, and I can’t comment on something I don’t know. More people on forums should try that, instead of just making up shit.
Since you mention shit, here’s a piece of bull-shit for you: a frame builder that doesn’t know the weight of the frames he makes.
Paolo,
Relax, chief. We haven’t made that frame in more than two years, I am in a room in Neuchatel, Switzerland and strangely enough, I don’t have a 61cm P3 SL frame with me.
Not a problem Geerard, enjoy your stay in Switzerland.
always the diplomat …
always the Cervelo groupie…
So who is going to ‘take one for the team’ and screw Paulo so we don’t run off the reputable manufacturers who are nice enough to drop by occasionally?
