I searched the archives as I thought there was a write-up on this while discussing Lance’s bike. It’s my understanding that most UCI riders have their TT set-ups (riding on the bullhorns) match their road bike handlebars (while riding the hoods). How’d they do that?
I’m hoping for some examples…
I’m using Salsa Short and Shallows on my ride bike (42cm) with the hoods in fairly standard position with a 90 stem.
I can give all sorts of measurements…but it seems that the typical bullhorn/aero set-up is going to have the reach waaaaaay far forward.
Is the only option to use a short stem or has someone come up with the magical UCI set-up? (HED maybe?)
