This thing is cool (not mine but if I had the cash it would be). Both brakes look to be operated from one lever, only one shifter (we don’t need no stinging small ring), both brakes reverse mounted (though the need for the rear being so is a bit confusing), really internally routed cables, and that stem drop…yikes.
I bet it’s fun running new cables.
I’d think as long as the housing stayed in place it wouldn’t be too bad…barring that though…major suckage. You can’t even see where the rear der cable goes into the frame.
That drop looks like that photo of Bjorn Anderson from around 2002 or 2003 where he was on a road bike with crazy drop. No one knew him at the time and I believe it was Gordo that was introducing him to ST.
