Now…this is ONLY for reasonable items. If you have JUNK…I dont want it. I dont want use chains, worn out cogs, bad bearing items, or any other thing that is just JUNK - sure you wanted to keep it cause maybe one day you would use it again…but is it really just junk?

What are you going to do with all the stuff people send you? I give most of my old stuff to Bicycle Action Project here in Indianapolis, IN. They use it to fix bikes they give away and promote bicycling in Indy.

If that is what you do with it…you should by all means continue to do that. As a matter of fact, if I get things that I just cant see a need for, I am more than happy to send them all of those items as well.

Chip, I have the pedals you TSRed to me. They wouldn’t work with my shoes i ended up buying some spd pedals. I have offered them to a couple of STers with no takers. I will continue to do so or ship them back to you, your choice.

I just read this junk post. I need to mention that nothing I would send is junk. Most is newer and all of it is in very good shape. Despite the bleak picture I probably painted.

one pair Performance Road shoes, size 46, good shape, might be missing insoles

one Shimano 600 crank, size 175, missing big ring

one chain ring, size 58

two single pivot brakes (one set)

one tubular rear wheel with 8speed Sachs freewheel (is this actually worth selling?)

at least one Trek well padded saddle

Frogonawire, I could use the saddle for a buddy I TSRed and old road bike to do his first duathlon this summer. Bike was a garage sale find Rally 10sp with shimano componenets for $10, but the saddle is torn, and not as padded as he would like.

I have a very used but completely serviceable set of Time pedals available. PM me if you need them.

:slight_smile: I know you all know someone who could use something…helmets! I know a guy who could use a helmet to replace his 15 year old Time helmet…

now, you just reminded me - I have an old specialized “Sub 9” as well.

I’ve been holding on to it for sentimental reasons

I think that the Sub 6 (all foam) was recalled cause it did not have a shell. I am pretty sure it was…then there was one that had a 1/2 shell that would also cause more neck/spine damage than it did prevent head damamge…turns out that the foam helmets would “grip” the road and snap your neck…thus they are a thing of the past…you should leave it on the shelf as a momento if it is the Sub 6…

Yes it does look cool…I had that, then re-call traded it for an Air Cobra that saved my life…
