No adjustment at all. I like the 11, you can pedal down some nice grades (8%) and not spin it out. Also, the 28 makes the going easier for sure up the same grade. Climbed Whiteface with it ( 8.5% avg for 8 miles ) and was much happier than with the 27. I was able to keep it around 60-62 rpm for the climb.
Chain did not change, just swapped out the cassette. Does seem to drop into the right gear smoother due to the cut outs.
You won’t be disappointed.
