I have stated before that on matters of race it is best to be very clear. If you go humor, it’s best to go pink up front. I thought you were being serious. The fact that this is probably going to be the first presidential campaign since George Wallace where the topic of race looks to be front and center is rather significant and fraught with potential risk for our country. I hope this does not devolve into a self licking cone. Politics is, and always will be, ugly. When race cards are played it can be toxic.

Well today, trump’s chief of staff defends trump by saying, well at least he didn’t attack Adam Schiff for being jewish. Which is something that nobody was talking about, but nice to bring it up, just really odd to bring up.

I think Trump was (still) responding to Cummings comments from earlier in the month in which he cited "government sponsored child abuse" in his criticism of border conditions/Trump. You can listen to Trump speak and you hear things he drags up from earlier times. Not only thin-skinned, which Obama was too, but moreso, and holds on to the least of slights, apparently indefinitely. Definitely belies some fairly large level of personality dysfunction.
