There really is no source where one can find reporting that portrays actual conditions on the ground, or in the negotiating rooms that is without without bias.

I’m aware of at least two righties (both Texans IIRC) who went to fight for Russia and are now dead. One of them was actually killed by his “brothers in arms” who decided at some point he was a spy and killed him. This guy seemed more nutty MAGA than actually right wing.
The second one moved his whole family to Russia to escape woke American culture, signed up for the SMO with promises they’d put his skills to use reparing equipment, only to find himself sent to the front for the meat assults and dead in short order. Don’t know if his family has come back or not.

I read an article about the second family yesterday. He moved to escape LGBTQ because Texas was too woke and they wanted to be around a non-woke Christian nation like Russia. 
The article did state that he is alive, with proof in the form of a video that was created within the last week.
The article stated he (or maybe it was the other family) loaned $50,000 to a Russian “friend” to start an automobile import business. They received one payment and nothing else. The courts refused to help him.
None that I am aware of, just don’t see those guys/girls to have the courage to take on IDF, like em or hate them, they are surgical on the battlefield and terrorists are generally not the best fighters.
Ironically, I know of a dude that left Ontario Canada to escape its wokeness, and moved to Dallas. Hopefully, he doesn’t end up in Russia.
I agree. and there are some on the ground who have and are going through terrible conditions through no making of their own. For them I feel bad, as I do for all in war like that.
The cultural divide(s) makes me unwilling to believe there will ever be a direct solution between the two. I’m hopeful that getting surrounding countries mostly on a same page will serve to either distract or keep a more permanent lid on things.
The sorting of who did what to whom and if anybody was wearing white hats in this war will take forever and will happen only if the lawyers and a court on the order of Nuremberg sits in session to resolve.
A news report in my paper this morning mentioned Trump is leaning, allowing or being positive towards (really is way too hard to pin him down) having Turkey play a role in the roll out of whatever becomes of Gaza. Israel opposes this.
That sounds like him. Last video I saw was a while ago with the wife on Youtube complaining the husband had been sent to the front and hadn’t been heard from in weeks. Maybe people just assumed he was dead.

Yep. I forgot to mention that it stated that he was presumed to be dead, but did surface.
based off my 2025 experience relative to the fluidity/willingness to be on both/any side of any issue that defines this admin…….. I would suggest you consider how many minutes before you read it that “report” was written.

I believe he is disparaging the quality of the report you mentioned and the paper it was printed in, as well as snarkily implying that it was published so quickly that all the facts may not have been known.
Given how whip saw Trump has been in 2025 I would read any “news report” mentioning what Trump is “doing” or “going to do” with a big grain of salt. And if it is more than 2 hours old there’s a high degree of likelyhood that Trump has changed position on it already.

got it. we’re good. The quality of the reporting is fairly solid. Whether Turkey becomes a player or not is totally dependent on the relation of the moment between Trump and Bibi.
