First of all, I can’t believe they would be interested in the area. When I ask people why, they say it is the PGA. The project was supposed to be completed already and be a tour stop this fall. They are still in the running for 08 and with Trump involved it will be certain. There are people saying you won’t believe how a PGA stop will put you on the map and your community will never be the same. Not being a golfer, this is amazing to me. Is the alure of the PGA and Trump that powerful?
have you been listening to am580 (which will begin streaming today again after 10 yrs). I personally think the Donald is attempting to buy a portion of the city. an absolutely brilliant move in my mind. he will be getting
a. a pga tour stop
b. a fairly open floorplan to the city. the westside is empty ghetto. there is no hotel, grocery, convenience, gas or anything. with his money he will be first in to build such accomodations.
c. a rediculously good name with the city and the surrounding cities. the way he has set himself up through his attorney, and his personal phonecalls dealing through talk radio has thrown him into the good graces of the people of the city. he is the hero in the case.
fresno gets
a. a pga tour stop
b. a new higher class section of town
c. a much better name for itself.
d. the Donald.
i think it’s a brilliant move by trump and the city. sucks to be one of the investors that threw unsecured money into the project though.
The way Trump and his VP played the media was pure genius. It was comical to listen to on the radio.

did you hear that one guy wants like 6 million for that strip of acreage that runs through one of the holes? THAT guy is brilliant. i would refuse to sell it, and charge trump a rediculously high lease on that land (think 100,000/mo) until he met my high offer! an another note. a mortgage broker and i have an appt with the guys at gj gardner, going to try and drum up some business through the builder, you want in on it? We have kind of an unique business group starting out. we’ve made a fair bit of cash off eachother lately.
