Who’s showing up to this event? I can’t wait for this event. I have heard nothing but good things. Just trying to see who is going to be doing any of the three events available and if anyone wants to meet up.

Not racing (darn!), but as a Show Low local and Trisports.com’s biggest fan, I am definitely gonna be there! Would love to meet with any ST’ers heading up.
I’m be working as volunteer coordinator (man, I hope all my arm twisting pays off), so just look for me at the red canopied Volunteer Check-In area. I’ll be the frantic one with wild eyes and a clipboard ;-).
FWIW, it’s going to be an awesome race!!! Rode the bike course repeatedly last weekend and my only complaint is that it’s too short…gets even prettier the higher up you go. Best post-race raffle in the freakin’ world…only complaint there is that it’s for athletes only…perhaps I should sign up for the sprint.
When are you heading up? Are you doing the pasta dinner? Will say that quality dining options are somewhat limited in this little 'burg…but that’s the price we gladly pay.

I am heading up on saturday around mid-day. I want to go to the pasta dinner, but I haven’t signed up for it yet which I am sure is a big mistake. I am really excited about this race and can’t wait to do it.

I’m one who’s arm was twisted…I’m volunteering, but kinda wish I had signed up to race. It’s beautiful, I did a sprint there last year. I think you’ll like it.
i will be there for the sprint race, have not had enough swim time to do the longer race due to work. not even sure my wetsuit fits as i have had only three days off in 6 months opening a restaurant here in scottsdale, gained about 10 lbs ugh.
should be pretty, looking forward to most of a weekend off and an escape from 105 degree weather.

I think you should be ok with buying dinner tickets on Sat afternoon. But if you’re sure you want one, I can “pre-buy” it for you tomorrow. Let me know for sure, though.

If there are still tickets available on saturday afternoon than i will be fine because I will probably be up there at around noon or so. I will defintely see you on saturday at the packet pickup. I will probably be wearing some ASU sweat pants and probably the Rio Salado Tri T-shirt.
