Is it possible that some tri suit leg grippers can promote or induce quad/hamstring cramping.
I notice several posters indicating that in their posts over the last few months.
Reason I am asking about this is, my A HIM race is approaching. As I am finalizing all my equipment choices, these statements cause a little doubt in my head.
In 2 years of racing, I cramped in all but maybe 2 races, oly or HIM. Never did I cramp in training in any of the bricks that I have ever done.
The common denominator here is the suit that I wear racing only, never train in it.
Does this have any substance or am I thinking silly here.
The response to this will likely vary with each person. My advice would be to wear your tri suit during a particularly hard workout sometime, maybe a HIM simulation, and see if you experience similar behavior in your legs as in a race.
Personally I don’t have this issue with leg grippers, but I certainly can not say this is not an issue for you!

yes, I would agree to that or just get a suit without one.
