TriRig Omega users, what pads (for Alu) are you using?

The Swissstop GHP (green) pads that i normally use won’t go all the way into the pad holder. In which case, should i just file down the back of the pad a bit?

Alternatively, what do you guys use? I’d prefer a pad that has good wet weather performance.

Thanks in advance

The Kool Stop Salmons that come with the pads are an excellent choice. They are normally sold as a wet weather pad but give excellent dry performance.

Kool Stop Salmons were my go to brake pad even before I got my Omega SV.

got it; thanks everyone! will order a pair for mine

Same too, the stock pads just work well.

Another vote for KoolStop Salmon. Have them on my tri bike (Omega front) and both my road bikes.

I have a set of Omegas sat waiting to be fitted. So what do you guys use for carbon rims? I have always used SwissStop yellows, but I gather from the OP that SS pads won’t fit?

Bontrager cork pads for carbon rims but braking power suffers greatly. Its like trying to grab a wax’d surface with a dry cloth.

swissstop green doesnt work, not sure about the other varieties

Reynold Cryo Blue does work.

The yellow Swiss Stop pads do fit into my Tririg Omega no problem.

Amazing how much better they are than the Ultegra pads.
