After recent massive gains in swimming prowess (at the expense of bike and run losses) TriDork announces that he will make an attempt at winning the swim Prime at IMNZ this wekend!
Unfortunately the exit from Lake Taupo in an anticipated 58 minutes is likely to prove to be a miserable sporting failure. 
Too bad, so sad.
I hope to see many of you in Taupo this weekend. Those that don’t sneak past me in the swim will no doubt pass me on the bike. I’ll be the one on the red Cervelo P2K and checking to see if my brakes are rubbing or my chain is jammed or other mechanical fault has befallen me. Surely (stop calling me Shirley) no-one can actually ride that slowly. If any of you can’t make up the deficit from the swim, during the ride, you will have ample time to pass me on run, or the bumble as I call it.
I will have a great day regardless of how long it takes me and I will see you at the awards party on Sunday. I just hope they don’t have any bananas on the desert table, but do have tons o’ wine on the tables!
