I saw that Tridepot.com had a great sale on Hed 3 wheels. I was thinking of buying them but wanted to inquire as to whether they had my size wheels. I have called, sent emails, and received no response or answer. Has anyone ever purchased from this place? The whole thing seems a little shady to me, especially since the wheels are priced a lot cheaper than on other websites.
The shady part I would think would be related to my initial thought when I read the subject header. Now, it seems this place is “Tri Depot”, but when I read the subject, especially with the question mark, I was thinking it was some kind of dopers site, as in “Tried Pot?”
Maybe I’m just tired and the mind is not quite firing properly?
for some strange reason when i read tridepot.com, i thought it said triedpot.com was wondering what the heck he was talking about.
I haven’t heard anything about tridepot one way or another.
Hed does occasionally make cosemetic blems available to retailers and customers with very minor cosemetic blemishes that do not affect the perfromance or durability of the wheel. I have had some, and they were a good deal. I wonder if that is what they have?
Yeah, that is a great deal on HED 3s. I tried calling them and emailing them to find out if the wheels might be HEDs “slightly out of true” closeouts, or have minor cosmetic defects, etc., but got no response, and only a generic sounding answering machine at the 800 number provided. Hmmm…anybody else know about these folks?

I have been waiting on a order from Tridepot for two weeks. They do not answer emails to customers regarding there orders or do they follow up telephone calls. The apparel was supposed to be sent by UPS 3 day delivery to Australia. I notice by my credit card statement that tridepot have my payment, But I don’t have my goods. Tridepot.com are very slack with overseas customers or as I am now starting to think a BIG RIPOFF.
