I’ve seen people asking about other locations in the US, so I thought I would ask for a friend who is a newbie. Anyone know about information in Israel? Shops, local rides, swimming clubs? Thanks.
believe it or not, that was really helpful. i never knew if there were tris in israel, and now i do. i have a distant cousin who rode the classics for a european team in the early 90s, so i guess i knew cycling has a niche in israel … but i’m pleased to see so many races on the calendars.
someday, i’ll live there. heaven on earth.

Well there is a pretty big triathlon coming up on Saturday two weeks from now (June 19th) in Tel-Aviv.

Btw except for the heat/humidity in the summer (good training for Kona haha) and maybe 2-4 weeks of rain in the winter, you can train year-round. The only problem is if you live in the ‘center’ (Tel-Aviv and the surroundings) you’ll usually have to put your bike on your car and drive 15 minutes to a place you can ride.
