Triathlon training and Accomodation in San Diego

Hello!

This is Robert McLaren from Geneva, Switzerland.

I will be coming to San Diego for 5weeks for Triathlon training. I arrive on the 20 of March.

First, I was wondering where the best place to stay would be. I friend told me I should stay in La Jolla.
What do you recon?

Secondly, I will be looking for accomodation for 2people for the 5weeks. I am looking for somewhere cheap and not luxurious. A homestay would probably be the best.
Who sould I contact about accomodation? There are maybe student-type accomodation near the University?

Make sure to check out the Tri Club of San Diego at www.triclubsandiego.org
Lots of workouts and you don’t need to be a member to participate. Great way to get a feel for the training ops in the area and maybe meet some additional training partners.
