Anyone here that is familiar with triathlon training in and around Barcelona, Spain?
I am mainly interested in riding conditions (traffic, quality of roads etc), but also if someone can recommend any good swimming pools and/or triathlon clubs.

More of a comment than a recommendation. As you may know, a little farther north in Catalunya is the mecca of expatriate American cyclists. A (noncyclist) friend of mine lives in a little town called Banyoles, just outside of Girona. We toured a lot of the countryside by car when I visited him last year. Beautiful scenery. Roads were good and there were a lot of roadies out (this, in February). Close to both the coast and the Pyrenees. Next time I’m bringing my bike!
